Electrical Insulating tapes are used primarily on small to large coils and capacitors to provide mechanical holding power during the manufacturing process (typically varnish impregnation) or to provide insulation between layers of wire in similar wrapped coils. Various levels of thickness, tensile strength, and elongation coupled with dielectric strength and temperature class are distinguishing attributes for this category.

Acetete Cloth 1A025	Black or White acetate cloth coated with flame-retardant adhesive, rough and absorbent surface. It is better suited for varnished impregnation in 130o application
Reinforced Polyester film 1H860, 1H86A	Polyester film/mat; excellent electrical properties; tough, conformable; for insulating, anchoring and banding in motor and transformers
Kapton® Tape 1K063, 1K7171, 1K7172, 1K7170	1 mil Kapton® film, tough, thin, designed for high temperature applications; used on coils, capacitors in 180o application
Polyester Tape 1P130, 1P800, 1P802, 1P830 1P700	Operation temperature 130o, 1mil film for use as layer insulation and coil cover
Polyester (flame retardant) 1P9FR, 1P808, 1P801	Operation temperature 130o; 1mil film with flame retardant adhesive, excellent flagging and solvent resistance; for use as an outer wrap on coil and capacitor
Filament Reinforced 1PG880, 1PG887	Polyester film/glass filament tape, thermosetting rubber adhesive. Excellent solvent resistance and thermosetting qualities agressive high adhesive, non flagging rubber adhesive
Polyester Knit and Cloth 1PK825 & 1PN820, 1P828	Flexible, compatible polyester knit, coil wrapping and holding transformer construction, bundling and binding for electrical application
Nomex® Tape 1N008, 1N012	Nomex® aramid paper with class H insulation, and the operating temperature 155o, 1N008 with 2 mil Nomex® and 1N012 with 3 mil Nomex® 5 mil, 7 mil, 10 mil Nomex® are available
PEN Tape 1PEN2, 1PEN3, 1PN2R, 1PN3R	PEN Film with class H insulation, and the operating temperature 160o, It is superior in almost all fields of applications. It exhibits higher temperature rating, better dimensional stability after heating, better hydrolytic resistance and excellent oxygen permeability.
